Students learn to edit and manipulate their images in Adobe Photoshop by collaborating in hands-on demonstrations and completing technical workout routines. The latter a part of the course is concentrated on portfolio growth as students work to develop their individual voice via the photographic medium. Student work is entered in regional and worldwide pictures contests and exhibited all yr long in the George School galleries. This course could also be taken as an Advanced Placement course in the senior yr or with special permission from the instructor. Students could take this course in their junior or senior years as an IB Visual Art.
