CIT provides full-time, part-time and specialist programs in Art, Enterprise and Humanities, Computing and Info Expertise, Engineering, Media, Music, Nautical Studies, and Science. The Cultural Institute and Breathe Arts Well being Analysis collaborated to explore how the arts can enhance well being and wellbeing in scientific and care settings. The consortium’s first challenge was to map and measure the present degree of engagement, support and funding by Western Australian hospitals in arts and health activities, to determine how we are able to profit from better use of the arts.
Arts for Well being at Manchester Metropolitan University is the UK’s longest established arts and health organisation. Arts in health is a discipline that incorporates multidisciplinary use of the arts in healthcare and group settings to profit all members in a neighborhood by enhancing their health and well-being.
